WhatsApp is great for talking to customers. Here's what InboxCRM adds around those conversations — and an honest look at when you'd be better served by something else.
A WhatsApp CRM is a customer-relationship tool built around WhatsApp conversations. Instead of copying leads into a spreadsheet, you track each chat's sales stage, notes, tags, follow-ups and orders alongside the conversation itself. InboxCRM is a WhatsApp CRM that runs inside WhatsApp Web as a Chrome extension.
How does InboxCRM work with WhatsApp Web?
After you add the extension to Chrome, open WhatsApp Web and log in as usual. An InboxCRM sidebar appears on the left of the page, and a chat-tools panel slides in next to the open conversation with context, pipeline, notes, replies and pinned views. Larger tools such as the CRM board, flow builder, reports and orders open as full pages.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
No. InboxCRM works with the account you already use in WhatsApp Web. There is no API account to set up, no phone-number migration and no separate shared inbox.
Is InboxCRM a Chrome extension?
Yes. InboxCRM is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) for web.whatsapp.com. It works in the desktop Chrome browser, not in the WhatsApp mobile app.
