Terms of use

The key rules for using InboxCRM responsibly. Please read them before installing the extension.

Last updated September 2026

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for following WhatsApp's Terms of Service and the messaging, marketing and privacy laws that apply to you and your customers.
  • Only message people who have agreed to hear from you. Do not send unsolicited or bulk messages.
  • You are responsible for the content you send, the AI provider keys you add and the webhook endpoints you configure.

Automation and account restrictions

WhatsApp restricts automated and bulk messaging, and unsolicited or high-volume messaging can lead to a number being restricted or banned. InboxCRM includes pacing controls — randomised delays, batch cooldowns, hourly and daily caps, quiet hours, per-contact cooldowns, warm-up mode and an automatic stop after repeated failures — designed to reduce this risk. They cannot remove it, and no outcome is guaranteed.

How the extension works

InboxCRM runs on top of WhatsApp Web in your Chrome browser and depends on how that page works. WhatsApp Web changes regularly, so features may occasionally need updates to keep working. Scheduled and automated messages are sent from your browser, so Chrome must be running with WhatsApp Web open.

Your data

CRM records are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups. See Privacy & data handling for details.

Independence from WhatsApp and Meta

InboxCRM is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

OpenAI, Gemini, Groq and OpenRouter are trademarks of their respective owners.
